Fungible

The word of the day in my facebook account the other day was "FUNGIBLE".
Meaning
1. being of such a nature that one part or quantity may be replaced by another equal part or quantity in the satisfaction of an obligation
2. interchangeable
3. flexible.

Does meaning no 3 then mean that fungible is a common word for accountants to use.
